EMPLOYMENT DISCLAIMER

Chesapeake Bible College & Seminary is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) tax exempt religious organization and is authorized by law to grant religious degrees in the State of Florida. Chesapeake Bible College & Seminary is a religious institution operating in the State of Florida offering only educational programs that prepare students for religious vocations as ministers, professionals, or laypersons in the categories of ministry, counseling, theology, education, administration, music, fine arts, media communications, or social work.

An accrediting organization is a “watchman on the wall”. Webster defines accreditation as to give trust or confidence to; to vouch for; to recommend; to furnish with credentials, as an envoy or ambassador. Every accreditation group is not the same. They are different and focus in different areas and levels of accreditation.

Accrediting Commission International is an international accrediting commission that holds as its primary objective the encouragement and maintenance of sound scholarship and the highest academic achievement in the areas of private education. Quality education is the goal at all times. Its purpose is the preparation of quality education in private schools, colleges, and theological seminaries. It is a nongovernmental body and makes no claim to be connected with the government.

A degree covers the major taken with that degree. A student or potential student must understand that credits taken in one type of program may or may not transfer to another type program. This is the sole determination of the receiving institution.

Chesapeake Bible College & Seminary has the legal right to only grant religious degrees, which are for personal growth and advancement in Christian ministry and not for secular employment or educational purposes.

I acknowledge my understanding and acceptance of all information listed above. I am also acknowledging that I have received the proper instruction from Chesapeake Bible College & Seminary pertaining to their accreditation, programs and requirements. I also understand the type of religious degree for which I have applied and that neither the ACI, Oxford Educational Network, nor Chesapeake Bible College & Seminary are responsible for my employment goals.
