Our Mission

Networking with the Body of Christ Worldwide Strengthening the hands of God’s under-shepherds Enabling students to earn degrees in Bible and Ministry related Subjects.

The mission of Chesapeake Bible College & Seminary is three-fold:

First

...the College aggressively pursues networking with the Body of Christ worldwide. This includes establishing network links with denominations, missionary societies, church organizations, Bible institutes, and Bible schools. We recognize that no one in the Body of Christ "has it all" when it comes to ministry, but we also recognize that each believer has a part of the whole by which we can supply what other parts lack. Chesapeake Bible College & Seminary is committed to serving as a unifying link as we help break down the walls that divide the body of Christ. By helping people earn a degree, we help make their dreams come true.

Second

...the College seeks to strengthen the hands of God's under-shepherds. We believe the pastor should be the first one to be blessed by the School of Ministry, so we give him the help he needs to obtain a degree or to move on to a higher degree. The School of Ministry assists the local church by equipping the saints to do the work of the ministry. The design of the school is to provide a well-defined curriculum that can fit any church. By making its fees economical and convenient, we have taken Christian education off the out-of-reach "top shelf," where only the few can reach it, and have made it available to all, thus adding to the quality of the believer's life.

Finally

...the College enables students, regardless of their life situation or daily schedule, the opportunity to earn a degree in Bible- and ministry-related subjects through the combined evaluation of their church service, life experience and previous college credits. Whether through traditional classes or correspondence, students may choose from a range of academic programs from the diploma to the doctor's level.

Accolades

Accrediting Commission International is the international accrediting commission that holds as its primary objective the encouragement and maintenance of sound scholarship and the highest academic achievement in the areas of private education. Quality education is the goal at all times. Its purpose is the preparation of quality education in private schools, colleges, and theological seminaries. It is a non-governmental body and makes no claim to be connected with the government.

The National Christian Counselors Association (N.C.C.A.) is a non-rofit, professional organization that trains, certifies, and licenses Christian counselors. The Association includes ministers, Christian counselors, testing specialists, medical doctors, attorneys, and educators. The N.C.C.A. has been faithful to this mission since 1981 and has assisted thousands of Christians to fulfill their call.

On September 1, 2008 the Oxford Educational Network Wolsey Hall School of Theology 1649, received Chesapeake Bible College & Seminary as a fully Accredited and Affiliated University. The Oxford Educational Network is a Network of Universities, Colleges and Schools that operate under a Royal Charter from Charles I of England. The Oxford Educational Network has schools in England, Canada, Central America, South America and Italy, as well as in the United States.

Chesapeake Bible College and the American Evangelistic Association, of Melbourne, FL, assist each other for broadest reach and impact according to their respective functions in Christ’s Great Commission. AEA Ministries,,established 1954, has served the Kingdom for over half a century. Credentials bestowed by AEA are respected by the Internal Revenue Service, by the Military, as well as by state and local governments and ministerial associations globally.

Blue Letter Bible Institute develops courses in major areas of Christian belief and practice. It is Blue Letter Bible’s goal to make BLBi the most comprehensive course of study possible. Blue Letter Bible provides powerful tools for an in-depth study of God’s Word through a free online reference library, with study tools that are grounded in the historical, conservative Christian faith.
